Personal History

My name is Grayson Bailey. I'm 11 years old, and I live in Greer, SC. For my 11th birthday I was given my very first dirtbike. It was a Kawasaki 110. I rode and practiced as much as I possibly had the chance. A few months later, I decided I wanted to begin racing. I knew racing would take a lot of hard work, determination and practice. Being a new racer in the community, I never let the experience of other riders intimidate me or stand in the way of just doing my very best. I soon began working closely with Jessica Patterson (a seven-time national champion). Jessica taught me about the basics of safe riding, control and speed. My ultimate goal is to one day become a professional rider. I want to be a role model and to inspire young riders to commit to what they love, and no matter what just get back up and keep trying.

Riding Goals

My ultimate goal is to become an arena cross rider as I continue to develop my skills and experiences as a rider.

Competitive Highlights

In the summer of 2016, I worked very closely with Jessica Patterson who trained me daily. Jessica would teach me technical skills, positioning, and the basics about safe and smart riding.
