Personal History
My name is Grant McDonald and I love to ride my dirt bike! I am 9 years
old and have experience in all different disciplines of riding and racing. I
live in Fountain Hills, Arizona with tons of desert surrounding us, so I can
practice right outside my front door, drive an hour to gain experience riding
the track or a few more hours I can be in the trees and mountains. This year
I am excited, as I have started racing the 65cc class and I am gaining
experience each race. I am also looking forward to racing the 2019 Monster
Energy Amateur Supercross Series this year. Although I am young, my
experience is quickly expanding as my family has been traveling for races
across the country.
We plan to hit it hard in 2019. My plan is to continue to race, as I continue
to gain knowledge and skills from each experience.
So far this year in school, with all the traveling for racing, I have still been
able to keep straight “A’s” in school and being on the Honor Roll in 4th
Grade. School is extremely important and I am going to continue to stay
focused to keep my grades up while I ride.
Riding Goals
I am looking forward to learning more in Supecross this year as we are planning on trying to go to all of them across the country. I am also excited to keep training on my 65cc and soon to start practicing on an 85 cc.
