Personal History
I always wanted to ride/race dirt bikes ever since I watched Tim Ferry as a little kid and screamed that I needed a YZ!! It was not until 2 years ago I was able to afford a bike and actually go ride and race. It was everything I thought it would be and so much more. My first hare scramble I did as a team race and was not expecting it to be so difficult but after barely completing 3 laps between myself and teammate I was still hooked. Race results improved drastically over the next several races and I finally felt comfortable races in C class solo. After completing the season I finished top 10 in a class of more than 60 riders.
Riding Goals
To race A-Open and finish top 5 for the year. Continue to be flowy and smooth in the woods while still being an aggressive rider.
Competitive Highlights
Either finishing a grueling race in the summer heat where most of my class dropped out or a 2 hour race where 2nd was on my tail the whole time and I actually had to aggressively race the whole 2 hours.
