Personal History
My motocross interest started at a very young age, 5 years old to be exact, while watching my older brother race. It’s been a dream of mine for the longest time. I purchased my first motocross bike with my own hard earned money at the age of 14. The very next year I went to my first race. I started right out in the Novice classes in District 3, Empire and US MX, skipping over the beginner class. I finished off a great first year of racing bringing home many trophies and had plans to try Loretta Lynn’s in 2019. Unfortunately, I had an accident that severed 3 tendons in my hand and was in a cast for a few months recovering, eliminating my dream for Loretta’s. Once cleared by the doctor, I was able to get back on my bike for another season of racing this summer of 2019. It was an adjustment as I lost a lot of mobility, strength and feeling in the hand and arm, but was able to work my way back up to the top. My hand has now fully recovered! I was pleased to do well at the High Voltage NYS Championships, coming home with a 2nd place overall in 250C class, with first place winner being Hunter Nitsch, the 2019 Loretta Lynn’s Champion! I also came home with a 3rd place overall in the 450C class.
