Personal History
I come from a loving supportive family. I grew up playing baseball and soccer. I played on travel soccer teams and made All-Stars every year playing baseball. I also grew up surfing and snowboarding. I ended up having problems with drugs and alcohol from age 15 to 30. At age 30 I went to rehab and cleaned up my life. I started riding dirt bikes and quickly fell in love. I entered my first race last year and was hooked. Since getting sober I have accomplished many things in my life. I have gotten married purchased a home and had a baby in the last 4 1/2 years. I have also received a bachelors and a Masters degree and I'm currently seeking a career in teaching. I am currently a journeyman electrician. I love my family and I love racing dirt bikes.
Riding Goals
I want to get a district 37 number one plate. Currently I am working hard to keep winning races to transfer the expert. Next year I want to compete in all the national hair and hounds and go for a number one national plate. In the future I want to race the San Felipe 250 Baja 500 and Baja 1000. Next summer I would like to start racing motocross.
Competitive Highlights
Winning lots of races and quickly transferring from beginner to novice and novice to intermediate. Winning my first intermediate race. Last year at the end of the season I tore my MCL in my left knee and continue to do okay. Now I have a 450 heavyweight bike and a healthy knee and starting to win races again.
