Personal History
My name is Gavin McCrory. I am an eleven year old from Iowa. My very first 4 wheeler I got for Christmas when I was 18 months old. While it was only a battery operated Yamaha, I rode that thing all over my parents house, learning to maneuver corners in the house, around our dogs, coffee tables, etc. At 3 my parents bought me my first Suzuki, and at 4 I began competing in flat track Racing.
In addition to racing, I enjoy running track, BMXing, basketball, hanging out with myu friends and the best dog in the world, my pomeranian Hoosier. I am an A/B honor student and was a member of student council.
Racing is something our family enjoy doing together. From working in the garage with my and and uncle, to my mom and sister getting me water when I pit, my family is always there to support me.
Riding Goals
While I am moving up to the 90cc production class this year, I feel if I continue to work hard I will end the season with a podium finish. There is some really good competition in that class, but if I keep my focus and determination, I know I will do well.
Competitive Highlights
I want to be a professional rider when I grow up. I was able to meet one of my idols last year at the GNCC National even in Carlisle Johnny Gallagher. He gave me his jersey that he wore that weekend and signed it.
