Personal History
My name is Gauge Keith. I just placed third at Loretta Lynns National. I like to ride, my dad and grandparents keep me racing although it's not easy. I just placed first in the New England Regional Championship, which was sponsored by Amsoil. I received 500.00 in amsoil contingency which means a lot. I practice hard and am working even harder after seeing the competition at Loretta Lynns. I have been racing since I was 4. I am consistantly in the top of my class. I am riding a 2007 cobra cm stock and oil class. The bike has proven to be a worthy machine against the newer cobras but i am hoping for two new king cobras in 2010. Bud Mamoine set up the engine on the stock bike and PR2 set up the suspension. I enjoy racing and my friends and family and hope to be able to continue and improve next year.
Riding Goals
My goals for the new year are to race well in Florida and hopefully get two new king cobras. Right now I'm riding 2 2007 cobra cms. My dad works hard to keep them running. I need to race more national races and also win the MD state Championship. I am determined to make it back to Loretta Lynns next year even though I know it will be challenging. I have done very well in the northeast region and am considered the best rider in the area. I will support my sponsors to the best of my ability.
Competitive Highlights
In November I won the Suzuki Triple Crown Shootout. I placed first in the Loretta Lynn area qualifier at Elizabeth City, NC and first in the regional at Budds Creek, MD. I placed third at Loretta Lynns which I believe is the best anyone in my class from the northeast region has placed. I just won the New England Regional Championship. I am practicing every week and trying to race every weekend. I love to ride but do know how expensive it can be. Any sponsorship is greatly appreciated by myself and my family.
