Rider Updates
Jan 2 2009
We have been in preparation for the 2009 season for about 5 weeks now. I train on my elliptical daily and engage in a rather intense sessions of Tae Kwan Do for 3-5 hours a week. Swimming starts next week as a nice reward for actually riding in the cold frozen Pennsyalvania woods. Thank goodness for studded tires and the killer enduro jacket I won at the season opener for NEOC. I hope that all this will make a difference for me at the season opener GNCC in Florida

2008 was a fantastic season. Between the GNCC nationals and local East Coast racing we attended over 21 races from New York State to Florida and as far West as Indiana. We met an amazingly terrific array of people and racers who brought us an incalculable amount of joy, fun, experience and comradely. As a 9 year old traveling the country to race and have fun, I think our whole family found out it was much, much more than that.
This year we (Team GapCoffee.Com) raced the Grand National Cross Country Series and North East Offroad Association. The season was full of both great and "not so great" races but it was all good because I learned something at every one. Either about myself and my ability or about my competitors...
I think my favorite race this year was the Loretta Lynn's GNCC. The Track was exactly what I like. I felt comfortable out of the box and just kept going. I am proud of that second place and looking for the Win next year.
My best Race was the grand finale of our local (NEOC)series at Wicky's World in Southern, PA
