Rider Updates

Apr 7 2014

Looking forward to a great 2014.   Going to hit some of the local races here in 2014 but going to do a lot more training.    I am trying to push myself to make Loretta Lynn's which I know is not going to be easy.    Looking forward to a fun year.

New year of racing and great year so far.    I have raced 6 races so far and in my age class 7-9 I am 1st in points and in the open class 7-11 I am 2nd in Points.    I look to keep up with the strong year and hope to take home the overall 1st place for my age class and 2nd overall for the open.

Ready to finish up strong with the last few races here in Colorado with RMXA.   Next race up is Cheyenne were I ride very good.   I  just need to keep the rubber side down and I will do very well.

WOW... AGAIN.... I was out practiing at ThunderValley on my 65 when I was jumped on by a 250 rider coming over a jump... Went to the ER thankfully the only thing that was wrong was a broken wrist... Protective wear is a must... Neckbrace (Thanks Leatt!) Helmet (Thanks One) Boots (Thanks SixSixOne) and God on my side have all contributed to keeping me safe.... Another 6 weeks of no racing... SUPER BUMMED!

I am super excited to start racing again in 2012.  This winter I participated in some winter combats where I raced my 50 against 65's, that was really fun. I was 2nd off of the starting line against some other 50's and 65's.  I wish they would have had a 50 class, but I like chasing bigger bikes!  I did come in 1st place in 2 out of 3 of the winter combat series races for the 50 riders!  I have been praticing on my 65 when the weather is good and the track is not covered in snow.  I am getting more comfortable on the 65 every time I ride.  Over Thanksgiving weekend I went to Wyoming and did an arena cross event where I placed 4th overall on my 65!  That was WAY different then motocross.  I think it was ok.  It helped to do this event with my 65 as I am still learning everything.  I can't wait for January's arena cross event where I am definitely gonna ride hard!

It is the awards night for RMXA and I placed 5th place overall!  The trophy is bigger then my mom!  This is really cool! I am so excited to have people that help me ride.  My parents, my trainer Rob Imundi and my sponsors.  Thank you!  Next year will be even better

I had such a great time racing my Cobra this week.  We had some trouble as it died on the line, and I fell in the back ruts, but I was able to get back in the race.  I really like racing the Cobra.  Some of the other parents told my parents that they saw a huge improvement in my racing the Cobra since last week (which was the first time that I was even on my Cobra). It made me feel good, because I practiced riding on Friday and Saturday and really did cut my time by 30 seconds on the practice track.  The Cobra is great, but I can't ride it all day like my Honda, which is why I still ride the Honda in class 5, not to mention I can also ride this bike all day long and not have to worry about it getting to hot.  Both bikes are great and I get to enjoy them both differently.
