Personal History
My name is Gage Pace and I am 11 years old from Minooka, Illinois. I just started riding with Club57, a motorcross school a little over a year ago. In the past year I have competed in two National races in Poncha City OK and one in Branson MO. I also just rode the first qualifier for Loretta Lynns in Du Quoin Illinois and qualifed in all three of my classes. I am currently riding in the 85Junior 9-11 Stock and Mod class. Other accomplishments in the year I have been riding is that I took 3rd overall in our local series. I was also lucky enough to spend 2 weeks at Milaps Training Facility in Georgia and have been asked to come back and train for a longer or more permanent program. We don't have many places to practice where I live so I just go to our closest track as many times per week and ride till they close the track down. I would love to just go back to Milsaps immediately but my parents say school first! I have to stay on the honor roll for the rest of this school year and prove to them that I can handle being home-schooled. I am grateful for the opportunities that I have been given and I know I still have a whole lot to learn but I will keep practicing to be the best I can be! Being surrounded by a supportive family and friends gives me drive to do what needs to be done and I am hoping to find good companies with the same drive and passion to represent me.
Riding Goals
I would love to make it to Loretta Lynns this year! I would also like to just keep improving my riding technique and keep moving forward.....without gettting hurt! Every race, every track, every kind of weather condition you learn something new and Im just going to keep taking it in and perfecting my skills to ride in those different conditions. There is always room for improvement!
Competitive Highlights
Every race from the beginning I did better and better....maybe not first everytime but always moving forward. Maybe not every hole shot but always in the front of the pack which just showed me all my hard work was paying off and it just made me want it more!
