Personal History
Hello my name is Gage Harder, I have been riding for the past 14 years, and been competing or attending competitive events for the past 3 years. I live in a small town in Southern Indiana. I enjoy working, hunting, and riding of course. I also take great pleasure on working on my bike and the satisfaction from taking it out on the track after turning wrenches on it for nights at a time. I have earned my associates degree in Industrial Technology and I work full time as an equipment mechanic in the ammunition industry. I have fallen in love with racing and support would greatly help me chase my dreams as a racer. I am a very outgoing and genuine young man, I am always asked by others about products and other equipment and would love to represent your company and products with great honor. I will 100% carry out all contracts and adhere to all agreements. I hope I am chosen as a rep for your company!
Thank You so much for your interest,
Gage Harder #423
Riding Goals
My goals as a rider are to move up through the classes. I have done a few upgrades on my bike to make me more competitive in the upper levels. I have recently had my suspension setup professionally and installed a Rekluse Z-start pro clutch. I have continued to improve my lap times every race and push myself to become a better, more skilled rider and I have goals of one day being an pro rider starting in that front row.
Competitive Highlights
I got my first win at a well known track in the midwest at Lincoln Trail Motorsports. It was in the end of July at one of the hottest, dustiest races I've competed in. I rode hard for 36 miles, blew out the fork seals but rode hard and brought home my first ever class win.
My second win came in early October at another soon to be well known facility tucked in the hills of Southern Indiana, Parson's Motocross Compound. Cool, wet weather had the track very sloppy in many areas but I was able to leave the start with the holeshot and battle the entire race and finish in the number 1 spot. The last lap the second place finisher was battling but I patiently waited for him to make a mistake and within the last 1/2 mile of the 40 mile race he did just that and I was able to capitalize on his mistake beating him by a mere 5 seconds to maintain my position in 3rd place for the 2016 class point standings going into one final race for the 2016 season.
