Energy, Personality, and Determination. Those are the keys. Fearless, tiny but tough, creative, this list goes on. When not on the bike or in school there's playing with toy trucks, racing games, and of course just plain getting dirty. A big heart and Love for family and friends. It's a complete package.
Riding Goals
Get to as many events as possible. Get on as many different tracks as possible and try a Hare Scramble. This will include Distric 22 points races and other local events such as county fairs and private races. Move up in race placement and focus on points standings within the District 22 area.
Competitive Highlights
With only 3 months of competition expereince and less than 6 months experience riding a bike progress has exceeded the expectations of everyone. The most recent race run, Fun Valley, Montezuma, Iowa it was evident that everything was coming together. Finishing 6th in Moto1, a 4th or 5th in Moto2 was looking good until a less skilled rider forced Gage off the track and the clutch was slipping. He pulled through Moto2 in 7th with 7th overall for the day. Next weekend the season wraps up at Hawkeye Downs Speedway, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After 2 phenominal practice sessions already this week, some clutch work, and a sprocket change, everyone is excited to see how the season comes to a close.
