Personal History
My name is Francisco Price, most people call me Franky. I have raced for Buena High School for two years now in a series called NICA. The type of riding that our team does is XC Mountain biking and the reason I am in that kind of riding is because my Mom does not like the idea of me racing dirt bikes. In a result to that, sometimes I play on my Yz250 in the backyard and race for my high school. I am an over achiever in my education. I am starting three college classes next year as a Junior in High School and for my High School I play the snare drum in the marching band. I have eight siblings, my mom, and my step dad in the family. Last year, before the NICA season a local bike shop asked to sponsor me with one of their new mountain bikes which was amazing! I love to go ride my mountain bike, dirt bike, go on long runs, hangout with my girlfriend, exercise, flex in the mirror, spend some time with my family, and do yoga.
Riding Goals
My riding goals for this year is to sign up for an enduro series and podium with one of my best friends! I've always been interested to race an enduro mountain bike. I am just as fast as my friend that podiums all the time and I ride a hard tail mountain bike! The bike shop that has sponsored me would love to sponsor me with a bike for the enduro series. All I need is equipment. Also my goals for this year is to podium in the MBAA XC series and to podium in the NICA XC series.
Competitive Highlights
Taking 15th in state for NICA in 2017. Taking 10th in state for NICA in 2018. Making it onto the podium in a MBAA race. Having a KOM on strava (that's pretty hard to do out of 496 people lol). Taking 12th in a 24 hour race.
