Personal History
My name is Forrest Breyfogle. I'm currently 14 years old and live in Cle Elum, Washington. I have been riding for over four and half years now. I have been racing for two years. After about three years of being on my yamaha, I switched to my current bike, a Honda CRF 150RB. Thats when I started racing. I have been to multiple races, including races at Pacific Race Ways to name one of many. After races I often help out and clean up, sometimes for hours. I also love comparing products and giving people advice and suggestions on what parts, gear ect. Riding has always been my favorite thing to do. When it comes to riding, my style is very aggresive but controlled. Every time I ride, I push my personal limits and always try for that extra milisecond when i'm timing my laps. I have a "sort-of" opsession for clearing any sized jumps. I can't stand when I go a lap with not clearing a certain jump. I always have positive, go-for it atitude on and off the track. If I dont reach my desired goal at a race, I cut it down and see what went wrong, what can I do next time, and what should I practice more of. When i'm not riding or racing, my hobbies are playing guitar in my band and mountain biking. Mountain biking has always been a great hobbie of mine and is probably a reason why i've been so succesfull at racing. I have been mountain biking for around eight years. I try to do the best I can at school year round. My grades for this year and previous years have been almost all A's. I try very, very hard in school and it always pays off. My family's reward for getting B or above grades is I can participate in races. It shows how much I am dedicated to racing. Last trimester's grades were: LANGUAGE ARTS; A SOCIAL STUDIES; A SCIENCE; B+ ROBOTICS; B MATH; A. Overall, i'm a very, very dedicated rider that loves racing and does well.
Riding Goals
Goals that I have for this year are:
1. Go to as many races/ practices I can go to around my state.
This is one of my goals because I can't get enough riding no matter how many times I ride. This would also help and give me time to further improve as an overall racer.
2. Get a top three finish in as many races I can.
This is another one of my goals because I believe that if you do well racing, you do better as an overall rider and person. People also look up to riders who do well in races and may try to make there bikes somewhat like theres.
3. Get a job for the summer
This is a goal of mine because if i get a job over the summer, one it will help me pay for new parts for my bike, and two, it will make me even more reponsible. If I could get a job at a local dealer, it could also help me larn more about my bike.
Competitive Highlights
Some of my competive highlights is first, my riding style. As I exlained in the first section, I am a very agressive but controlled rider. I love to push it on every level, each time I ride. I can't stand not clearing even a single jump every lap but almost every time, I do. As for my Racing highlights, I don't have tons of races under my belt but i am siezing every single oppertunitie to race at any type of event. Some of my Highlights include:
Horn Rapids MX Park: Here I have gotton two fourth place finishes out of roughly 30 people. The three riders that finished ahead of me were all on heavily modded 250's. The same thing happended the second race a couple months later.
Pacific Raceways: Here I have gotton a second place finish in a novice-intermediate class race. No one crashed and it was a clean race.
As I siad earlier, I am siezing every oppertunity to race and have currently planned over 15 races that i'm competing in over the summer. There will be many more to come. Thank you for spending the time to read this, I hope you will consider a possible sponsership in the future
Sincerely,
Forrest Breyfogle
