Personal History

I have been in the military for 22 years and have been racing on and off for 20 years.  I love the sport whether I am watching or racing.  I have recently begun training my son as he is an avid rider at the age of 12.  He loves to get dirty.  This is a family affair for us and have a great support system in our family team.  With my military background, professionalism and respect is my backbone.  I am a career soldier and know what it means to represent myself in a professional manner at all times and give support for those who support me.  My work ethic is untiring and is never hesitant to lend a helping hand, including my competitors and rivals.

Riding Goals

My goals for 2014 are to get back into shape after being deployed for 15 months to Iraq and become very productive with my team and get some family time in.  I want to start at the local level and move on to the regional level soon.  I work hard to be competitive and improve throughout the year while staying healthy and injury free.  Inspiring young riders to do their best and have fun doing what they love, getting dirty and competing, is what it is all about.  And letting the world know that old guys and gals can still get it done.

Competitive Highlights

During my years racing I have only completed 4 full seasons on the local circuit placing 8,8,6,4 respectively in a field of 30 or more racers each year.  I have been unable to race full time and complete a full season while being active military.  I am in my last duty station, so completing a full season will no longer be a problem.
