Personal History
Growing up in Germany, riding possibilities were limited, so moving to Canada presented a whole new world of offroad riding. I started getting into hare scramble and cross country races in 2010, and offroad racing has now taken over as a way of life. Coming from a hockey background including competing in the Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championship for several years, the transition to more extreme events such as EnduroCross (and hopefully Extreme Enduro races soon) seemed natural. Working over the internet as a technical translator, I currently live in a solar powered toyhauler and go from race to race, trying to extend the short Canadian summer.
