Riding Goals

I've always wanted to ride since i was a few years old. I bought my first bike by myself, it was only a cheap pit bike at the time but i rode whenever i could and realised how much i truly loved the sport. Within a few weeks my mum and grandparents suprised me with a honda crf 150 and my whole life was changed, every weekend i went riding and each time i was getting better and more confident. Around a year had past and my mum got a once in a lifetime opportunity to work and live in Dubai, an offer you just cant refuse. We decided to move away from everything furniture had to be sold and the bike sadly had to be sold ( luckily i had a broken knee at the time so i wasn't missing out on riding ) once we arrived in Dubai and had settled into our new home i was searching for bikes, it took about 7 months for me to find the bike i wanted. It was a 2019 yz125 there next day we went and bought it , i was scared to ride it at first as it was my first 2 stroke and i had to get used to riding it sand. It wasn't long before i fell in love with holding a 2 stroke wide open on sand going through the dunes and hitting jumps. 2 years past living and riding in paradise but things were getting hard i was missing my friends and going out enjoying the people who i had known for years. We made the hard decision to go back and return to where we used to live. As soon as we landed i was searching for the next bike i was going to have, it took a while but i settled on a 2016 ktm 250 4 stroke. It was beautiful it had a pro curcuit exhaust and some amazing wheels, we ended up buying it and i loved it every minute of it. Until one weekend it decided to give out on me and blow up, gearbox was destroyed and case was cracked it was the worst time of my life. We struggled to get the money together to rebuild it, i ended up selling my mountain bike to pay for it. I was just itching to get back out on a track and give everything i had. We had it rebuilt in around 5-6 months i was getting better and better on it but it just wasn't right for me. I put 26 hours on the fresh engine and just wanted something newer something more my style, it took no time before i found a beautiful fully stock 2019 honda 250 i fell in love. We took my old ktm up and traded in towards it and that first ride, WOW it was just amazing a whole new level of power and stability, it was definitely my style of bike. Since i bought that bike i have just been improving each week and i look back on how i used to ride and i really get to see why i ride. You just can't beat swinging your leg over a 100kg machine and ripping a track, It is the best thing in the world.
