Personal History
My name is Everett and I turned 6 August 2, 2023. My family consists of my mom, my dad and my 10 year old sister. My sister is a competitive dancer and dances 6 days a week. My mom and my dad both work full time, but spend every evening and weekend dedicated to me and my love of moto. My dad rode dirt bikes as a kid but unfortunately his parents’ addiction never allowed him to see it through. My dad decided that if he couldn’t ride as often as he wanted, he would become his friends full time mechanic on race weekend. My dad is now my mechanic and my biggest fan. I have loved two wheels since the day I was born. Instead of cartoons, I watched moto. For my first birthday my parents bought me a Strider balance bike, a Stacyc for my second birthday, and my first PW50 on my third birthday. Now at the age of 6, I ride a 2023 KTM 50, a 2021 KTM E5 electric bike, and I also ride my KTM senior. My first race ever was in April 2023 I began racing in the Florida Motocross series where I am currently in 6th place for points. The good news is we have 3 races left this year and my goal is to make my way up to top 3 in points! My home track is Orlando Mx where I train weekly with my coach Dean Dyess. When I am not training with Dean, or racing on the weekends, My dad and I go ride other tracks around the State of Florida. On my off weekends of racing the Florida Motocross Series, I also like to go race in the Dade City Series. That track is one of my favorites to rip. Just last week my coach invited me to race in the AMA Gold Cup series. I showed up, fought hard and finished 3rd overall in the 50 age 4-6 class.
Riding Goals
I live for moto! I eat, sleep, and breathe moto. I plan to finish the Florida Motocross series ending in December and dive right into the Florida Winter AM series. Next year I will race the Florida Motocross Series as well as the Dade City Series. Any opportunity for seat time is where I will be to learn, grow and become the best, focused rider I can be. My dad just brought me home an E5 last week that I have started training on and cannot wait to race. I also train on my KTM senior. It is a bit big for me, but boy can I haul the mail on that thing. I plan on racing the KTM senior in the open class at my upcoming races.
Competitive Highlights
For only being on a race bike for 6 months, I have made incredible strides of improvement. When I first started racing my finishes where 7th through 10th overall. My latest finishes have been 4th overall in the 4-6 yr old mini class at Dade City, a 3rd place overall finish for 4-6 50 class at the AMA Gold Cup, and 4th place overall finish at the race in Waldo for the Florida MX Series.
