Personal History

Everett lives on a small farm in the rural area of Western NC. When his father started doing Harescrambles as a new hobby, Everett quickly wanted to jump on anything with wheels. He started on his Strider bike around 18 months old, and learned how to balance himself faster than he did to walk. When he was 2, he upgraded to his Stacyc Electric bike, gaining confidence and speed. He practices with the "Big Guys" on the grown up track, trying to out run them, but definitely gaining more airtime than they do. For his 3rd birthday, he was gifted a 2022 PW50 that he was a tad short for, but that didn't stop him. He rode anyways, and just found an adult to pull up to when he needed to stop. Still hitting the track with it, and still landing jumps with ease. He has started out learning the basics of racing on his stacyc to get used to being around other kids, the process etc. but after rocking that, moving on up to racing his PW50 in Spring of 2023. He is very tall for his age, built solid with long legs and broad shoulders. At this point it gives him the strength and advantage of control of his bike in his age group.

Riding Goals

Everett is very self-aware and observant of others. He watches not only other kids in his class, but each level above him up to the Pro's for tips and tricks on how they handle sharp turns to jumps on the course he's racing. Without any prompting, he naturally implements those in his following race to keep climbing positions in the following races. For now he is wanting to start the upcoming VXCS Harescramble series on the east coast with his Stacyc to keep those skills, but also start running his PW50 each Weekend. This winter we plan on pivoting back to the FMF Indoor Series to keep skills in both arenas and find which is truly his best fit.

Competitive Highlights

Everett just completed his First ever Race Series, attending 10 out of 12 races. We missed the first 2 on Thanksgiving weekend visiting family, and not wanting to over-do the process for him right out the gate. We were not prepared for how well he did, placing 4th overall with no race experience and never even riding on an Motocross track, coming in just 1 point shy of 3rd place overall. In these races he's out pacing majority of the 4 year old's in the class ahead of him, along with many of the 5 years old's as well. If he was to attend those first 2 races and not even podium first (Which he actually did do his first ever race) he would have held 2nd place overall for the season, coming close in points raking to 1st overall. We know this is just the beginning for him, and are certain he'll outperform in the coming series as well, continually growing and ranking as he goes.
