Personal History
My name is Evelyn (Eva) but you can call me Blue Hair Sparkle Pants. I am eight years old and started riding dirt bikes in June of 2021. I rode around the yard until the fall when I went to my first track, HLR in Moberly, MO. I started a youtube channel to show my racing. I have met a lot of people and love hanging out and camping at the track. I got to take a lesson from a pro one day after racing, that was really neat. My dad is my coach and he does his best to make sure I'm safe. When we aren't racing we head to a track a little closer and practice cornering, jumps, and rider position. I also love to play games with my family (UNO) and play with my barbies.
Riding Goals
I have several goals in motocross. The first is to consistently improve my riding performance. I want to always get better and faster. Second which is really a part of the first is to stay safe. Riding can be very dangerous and if I don't improve it can get more dangerous. Third, I would like to qualify for nationals and race at Loretta Lynn's and Red Buds some day. I like that girls can compete in this sport and it's not just for boys.
Competitive Highlights
I got first place in the HLR Spring Series 50 Beginner class. Third place in the Hot Summer Nights Series and Second place in the Summer Nights Series.
2023 was a good season but I had a lot of issues that played into my 4th and 6th place overall finishes. First, my MC50 had some major front brake issues that made riding a bit of a struggle. The issue continued until my dad got it fixed in late August. I also had issues with jumping this year because of a bad crash at the end of last season. I guess I need some more time to get myself back on top with my nerves and a bike that doesnt have issues.
