Personal History

My name is Evelena Hillis. I was born and raised in Los Angeles California. I grew up and only girl with 7 brothers. A tomboy is what they use to call me. Growing up wasn't easy. After I lost my baby sister due to an car accident. I broke my femur in 5 places which made me unable to walk for a year. Being that I was only nine years old it didn't affect me. Now that I am 20 I realize how lucky I am to be able to walk. For years my brothers have rode me on the back of their bikes. After watching my brother fall in front of me I knew I had to learn on my own and quick. For a whole day I practice in circles in a near by gas station on a Kawasaki 636 and from there I never put down the bike. I quickly moved to New York after I bought my first banshee and fell in love with the sport all around. I am recognized all over the world due to worldwide Instagram. From London to the Arab countries it's amazing the skill we all share.

Riding Goals

As an African American female rider I want to show that us ladies can transfer from street to dirt just as our males can. To inform kids that it's bigger than just kicking one down and give up. It's a lifestyle that we are blessed to be in. I would love to get better at my skill being that I'm a female I get little help because of all the guys are in competition and I ride for the fun and love of the sport. I would like to be recognize for the hard work and falling us ladies go through in this very dangerous skill. I breathe two stroke and I'll never give it up.
