Rider Updates

The outdoor season for 2022 has come to a end. It was a great season and a huge improvement for a second year of racing. I would like to thank my sponsors, FXR, Spy Optic and Flo Motorsports. We sold the 85 and focused on the supermini and towards the end of the season we picked up a '23 Kx 250F. In supermini I was able to place 1st overall. In schoolboy, I was able to finish 6th (not bad for a supermini going against 250's) with a 1 point difference to 5th. In 250C with only making 5 races total I ended up in 8th overall for the year. I am looking forward to resting for a few weeks and enjoy my second passion of hunting in Wyoming. I am ready to start my winter training program, work on bike preparation and excited for the '23 season to begin. -Evan

My outdoor race season is over for 2021. Last weekend was the HPMA championship and it looks like I should take 2nd place overall. I had a crash on Saturday, I over shot the last double on a 6-pack set and stuck the front tire and went end over end 2 times with the bike. I managed to get my wind back was checked by the EMT's and rode the bike back to camp. On Sunday in my super mini division i was battling for the 8 th place and tucked the front wheel and landed wrong and broke my left arm. I had to get 2 plates and 10 screws to put my left forearm back together. While I mend i will be walking on the treadmill and I am awaiting the beginning of the 22 indoor season and will come back stronger than ever.

Well, HPMA has decided that I will be bumped from c class to B class for the remainder of this season. I was hoping to fight for number one but unless the rider 2 below me doesnt point up enough I should have a locked in 2nd place for the year. Time will tell...

Had a rough weekend in boomtown.... last practice of the day on Saturday, I launched off a table sideways and swapped and took a massive digger .... track help got me back to the trailer and we started the rebuild process of mental and physical being. Went out on sunday and first moto had a younger rider take me out just out side the gate and ended up dead last 1/4 track down. It was time to go to work... i worked my way back to 6th out of 16 riders. Not what i wanted but it happens. second moto was in the top three and went down in a rut and lost numerous places ... my injury from practice and the deep soft sand track forced me to dig deep and fight for every inch. It just wasn't my weekend.

We went to Cheyenne Wyoming for a single day race and I had rode the best I have all year! I was stepping up to the bigger jumps and once i got over them once I was dialed. I brought home my first 1st over all of my 85 season.

Well... it just keeps getting better! During a engine rebuild, it was determined my crank and cylinder were bad! Parts on order and should be here the same time my suspension comes in.

Shipped all my suspension to Pro-action and got it all rebuilt and valves for me! Gonna take the down time and fresh my motor up with new piston and new clutch!

Came off a race in Mitchell Nebraska didn’t place as high as I hoped to , but made serious progress on a different track I’ve never been to and was finally getting comfortable jumping until my fork seal went out!
