Personal History
Hi, my name is Ethan-Carter, but everyone calls me E. I enjoy riding my dirt bike, BMX bike and just being outside. My dad bought me my first dirt bike, Yamaha PW 50 when I was 18 months old. That's where all my greatest adventures started. My dad would take me out to Jeeps Cycle Club, that we are a member of here in Wichita and spend hours letting me just ride around. I was 4 1/2 when we decided to take the training wheels off, and give it a go on my own. Before I knew it I was riding around without my training wheels, having so much fun. This September, 2010 was my very first race at my home track, I was so excited knew that this was something that I was going to want to continue doing for a long time. My mom and dad take me 2-3 times a week to our home track to practice and ride. I have a riding coach, Cameron Tate that I train with once a month in Oklahoma.
Riding Goals
This year, after only been racing for the last 7 months I hope to perfect my skills and abilities, by training with my coach Cameron and putting them together for winning my upcoming motocross races.
Competitive Highlights
When I first started racing not too long ago I was getting lapped by almost all the kids but now I'm one of the kids they all want to beat.
During my heat race at the Wichita Arenacross I got the holeshot and was in first place after the first corner and into the woops... but I was so use to always trying to catch everyone that I had no idea what to do when I was in the lead. Lost the lead but still held on to second. I now know what to do when i'm out in front, "get in the zone and pull away".
