Personal History

My name is Ethan Stevenson, im 16 and am from Superior, Arizona. I first started riding dirtbikes after watching some of the local guys ride and race around our little practice track in town. After finally talking my parents into buying me a bike (which was a pw 80) i then started riding almost every day. Then after about a year i got a xr 80 which is where i started to push the limits more and more. Finally after out growing that bike i then jumped onto a expert cr 85 where i started racing and competing. From then on i knew where i could improve and then realized how fast i was. So after running many good seasons with that bike i got the bike i now have which is my yzf 250. So recently i have started to compete more and more and am gaining more and more time on the expert riders and seem to be improve everyday.

Riding Goals

One of my major goals for this coming year is to race in the expert/pro division in many of the series i run. I personally would like to run as many races as i can in the time to come so i can improve and get closer to the top riders. I would like top gain as many top sponsors as i can and hopefully not disappoint them with bike problems or injuries as my last years season went. I wan to be as fast and safe as i can but at the same time just enjoy myself because when im riding in a good mood i am just so much faster.

Competitive Highlights

Man this is such a great topic for me and i really dont know where to start! My first race that i did was simply going to be a race that didnt matter to me and was just going to be a introduction to racing. The minute that flag dropped the race and top 3 was worth everything! I ran that race with everything i had and ended up placing 2nd in my first race which was what got me hooked on racing. Another good race for me was the first time at the fort Mcdowell gp where i ran the novice class and ended up laping my whole class and into the expert division. Then came the Gila Bend gp which was another great race for me! I again lapped my class and ended up place the same amount of laps on my 85 as the riders on there 450's! Then yesterday at the Fort Mcdowell gp again it was a different course where i wrecked 4 times in the first 3 laps on the 1st lap! Finally after i picked myself and my bike off the ground i then passed everyone again and finish 2nd. So those are a few highlights from some of my races and there will be many to come shortly as the 10hr Fort McDowell GP gets closer.
