Personal History
I am 13 years old, currently in my first year in the bw 85 class. I race at a local and regional clubs. My mum takes me to all of the meetings. I do lots of maintenence to my bike myself, I change filters, plugs, tyres, I power wash my own bike after every meeting and prep it ready for the next time, I load my own bike on raceday and I'm responsible for sorting my own fuel mixture. My uncle races to a high level and he has taught me how to prep my bike. Unfortunately my mum and dad divorced 4 years ago and dad takes no interest in me or my racing therefore every is down to my mum. We travel to meetings in our van, 2 day events we travel on a sat morning, come home and travel back next day. I have improved so much this year, my first meeting at Preston docks in March, my lap times were 2.32 and last month I was doing 2.14, gaining me a top 10 place in a very good field of riders. I'm currently in 3rd place at my local club Cumbria Mx and 7th overall at West Cumbria Deanmoor mx club, a stronger class of riders. I race a Suzuki Rm 85 2010, no fancy bits, it's all standard.
Riding Goals
My aim is to finish in the top 3 at my local club and I intend to improve my riding skills next year to do better and race faster, I'm looking to get some holeshots next year and stand on a podium lol. I love motocross, I'd race every weekend if my mum could afford it but it is a very expensive sport, luckily mum loves it too. She is my only sponsor! I race every race the best I can, u never give up, even if I've pushed to hard and made a mistake, I'm learning all the time and this year people are noticing how much I've improved.
Competitive Highlights
I am not the fastest rider or the top racer in my group but I am very proud of my achievements this year. I am usually in the top 5 at my local club, more often than not, I'm in the top 10 at other clubs. My lap times are improving and my best performance in a really strong class of 24 was at Preston Docks Vale Mx Club in June this year where I finishef 10th.
