Personal History
Well my name is Erik. I am a 19 year old who is a third generation racer. My dad and my dad's dad were both professional racers and that is my goal. I have gone through some serious injuries but the thing that seperates me from my competition is I will never give up and will do everything I can to win. I have grown up in a family where racing is a way of life. On the weekends during the summer instead of going to the lake or to a cabin, my family goes to the races. I love to compete and I love being on my bike. So long as I have two arms, two legs, and a finger for the clutch then I'll be on the track whenever I can.
Riding Goals
My goals for the coming year are to collect enough advancement points to advance into the next class of racing which would be Expert. I also hope to stay injury free as that has been a problem in past seasons.
Competitive Highlights
Some of my competitive highlights include:
-Multiple overall wins in 250 C and 450 C classes
-Top 3 finish in points in 250 B in 2011 season
-7th place overall finish in Western Canadian Amateur Nationals 2011 after being landed on in moto 1 and breaking 4 ribs.
-5th overall finish at the Calgary pro national
