Personal History

My name is Erik Ashley and I was born in Riverside, California. I began to ride at the age of four and fell in love with it. As a teenage, I competed in the trans california and golden state series. In my early 20s and 30s, I participated in smaller races. I ended up relocating to Hawaii where I competed in smaller, local races on all islands. In addition, I competed in the Hawaii Supercross in 2019 and placed 8th out of 23 riders. I am also a member of the Hawaii Racing Association. I ran kekei motorcross on the Big Island and worked hard to try and get a track built for the kids on the Big Island of Hawaii. I continue to ride as of today and I am relocating to Southern California, so I can continue to become a stronger and faster rider. I have goals of competing in races such as surfer cross and day in the dirt. Motorcross is my number one sport. In addition to riding, I love train kids and lady riders who have an interest in learning how to ride a dirt bike. I also have a strong passion for coaching those who want to become a better rider.

Riding Goals

My riding goals for 2023 are to race in Surfer Cross, Day in the Dirt, Vet World Championships, Mammonth and regional qualifier for Loretta. In addition, any other smaller races that come up that may spark my interest.

As a rider, my goal is to get faster and quicker on corners. In addition, I would like to finish top 5 in my age group at the Vet World Championship.
