Personal History

I've been riding a dirt bike since I was 8 years old. My parents & sister also ride, but mostly only on trails. I  played competitive baseball but really took to riding on my 50.  A friend of my parents sugessted that  I should start racing since all I wanted to do at 8 years old was ride in circles & jump !  I than started racing in 2009 on a KX65, in 2010 was racing on the KX65 & on a RM85.  In 2011 & 2012 only racing on the RM85. My results in 2011 started improving from back of the pack to in the top 10 & in 2012, my results were much better, however, an injury set me back a few months, but I came back strong & my first race back I placed 2nd at a track I'd never rode at before !

In 2011 & 2012 I was still playing competitive baseball in the Spring into mid Summer, than picked up motocross after the ball season was over, however, my true passion is motocross & I all I want to do is ride anywhere & everywhere.  In 2013 I've decided that I am only focusing on motocross & will not be playing baseball, much to my parents dislike, however, they support my decision & understand my passion for MX. My Dad & I work on our bikes ourselves, unless its something we can't fix, we send it out.  It helps save us a lot of money & I've learned a lot working with my Dad not only that its what I like to do.  Most riders have their Dads wash their bikes, I prefer to do it myself & I like my bike to be clean & looking good !  I also work very hard on my fitness, it drives my Mom crazy because I ask her to make us a salad with dinner, she's become very creative with making us healthier meals. I would really like to help them out by getting sponsorships to help them with some of the expenses since they work so hard to make it all happen for me to race & ride.

Riding Goals

In the 2013 season I've moved up to the 250 class with my new 2012 YZ250F.  Need to master the new bike & hopefully win some races.  I'm really looking forward to riding & racing this year. I also help my dad in the Summer with his Lawn business & with my helping him, I'm able to help pay for my races & things I'll need for my bike. My Grandparents have helped, they purchased the new bike but I have to work it off but without their help I would not have this bike, I am paying for it by cutting their grass, doing odd & ends for them & shoveling snow. My family is the best, they support me in my decisions & do so much for me to be able to follow my passion of motocross.  At the end of the 2013 season, I accomplished my goals, I moved up from the 250C class into the 250B class in order to get better & faster, the C class was brutal. The 250B class is on a split gate with the 250A riders, my goals were not to get lapped by the 250A riders, get faster & pass other B riders & stay up. I did just that at the last race, passed two riders, nobody lapped me & I stayed up !  Now my goal in 2014 is to pump it up a notch, try to get better starts, stay ahead, no lapping by 250A riders & win some races in 2014 !

Competitive Highlights

Took 2nd in my first Hare Scramble on my trail bike in the wrong class, 85cc, was supposed to ride in the 80-112 4 stroke class.  It was fun, but it was not motocross.  Taking 2nd in Actiontown was my ultimate ride.  I really liked the track & felt very good there.  I also took 2nd at Blue Diamond & that was so cool too. At the last race in 2013, finished well, best race of 2013 in the 250B class this season !
