Personal History

I am a Chiropractor in Williston ND, with a very deep seeded passion for Motocross. I have been racing for many years now and I am excited to have the opportunity to teach my children how to ride and race. During my hay day I was a very fast rider for the state of North Dakota, with numerous state championships. Then in 2003 I fractured my spine racing motocross. After a very tough recovery I was able to win one more state championship. In 2004 I decided to pursue a career in Chiropractic. During the time of intense college classes and working as much as I could to support myself, I had to take some time away from the sport and active racing. I always owned a dirt bike and always rode, but I did not have the time to actively race. In 2015 I decided that it was time to start racing again. Now myself and my 2 children, Thor Nelson and Addison Nelson, all actively race. I know that I am not going pro anytime soon but it is my passion and goal to give my children all of the tools to pursue there dreams in motocross.

Riding Goals

I have taken quite a bit of time off of racing, primarily to achieve school and career goals. I think that one of the most important aspects of a person is there drive to succeed and perform the work that is needed to achieve their goals. I am at a point in my career where I have the opportunity to pass these values onto my children and give them all of the opportunities possible.
