Personal History

First off, i want to thank you for taking the time to check out my profile. My name is Eric Oliphant and i am 31 years old. I live with my wife Georgia in Conifer, Colorado at 9100 feet above sea level. For those of you not familiar with Colorado, our town is about 30 minutes west of Denver, and only 20 minutes from Lakewood's Thunder Valley motocross park.  I was born and raised in western New York and started riding in the early 90's. I have a younger brother Bryan who also lives nearby and is my constant training partner.  He works in promotions for Monster Energy and because of this we have both met some pretty cool people, and at the same time gotten us involved with our local racing scene. To quickly describe myself i would have to say i am very outgoing and personable.  I always walk the pits and congratulate someone for the holeshot or awesome pass, or conquering a tricky section. I dont bring junk to the track. In other words my equiptment is always clean, safe and running awesome. We keep our pit the same way, since racing is also a camper and truck show.  Lastly, i just love standing at the fence yelling for my friends and family seeing them try their hardest.  Sounds cheesy, but i love this stuff.

Riding Goals

One of my biggest goals is to customize a training regimen for motocross rather than to just rely on my marathon training.  Discipline is not the problem, so hopefully someone can help me with that. Unfortunatly most personal trainers are unfamiliar with whats involved and thats frustrating.  As far as goals on my motorcycle i would like to place in the top 10 in the district 25 points championship.  We are also fortunate enough to have three lorretta lynns regionals within resonable driving distance so i would like to hit those just to see how i stack up.  So thats my main goals, and to stay off the ground and keep progressing.

Competitive Highlights

Finished 13th overall in the pro-action vet series.
