Rider Updates
Jul 27 2013
Just a quick little update:
Parts are in the mail to button up the 125 to get it track ready. If all goes as planned, I'll be at Pax Trax in Bunnell, Florida with other students from WyoTech for an open ride day on August 15. Instructors will also be on hand, riding and assisting with bike setup and riding tips.

The 2010 season is upon us, and I cannot wait to get on the track! Unfortunately, I've had a lot of expenses come up at once, so the racing budget has been smaller than it needed to be, and I wasn't even able to get on my bike until last week. The good news is that my bike is finally running, and I've already had offers from some great sponsors to help alleviate some of the financial burden that comes with racing. I can't thank all of my sponsors enough!
Now that I have a running machine, the next move will be to get myself prepared. I have dropped 40 pounds in the off-season to get myself in better racing shape. My next order of business will just be getting to a few tracks to put in lots of practice laps. After all, there is no better way to train than actually riding. It's been a long while since I've been able to ride a lot, but it's all coming back to be very quickly. Having friends who are "A" riders the to practice with me and help me refine my technique will be a major help.
I don't really know what to expect out of this season, but I know I expect plenty of myself. The main focus will just be for me to get more experience on the track and meet the goals that I set for myself so that I can be prepared to move up a class next year and hold my own. Overall, I'm looking forward to having a good time and being a good representative for the people who have put their faith in me.
