Personal History

I was born and raised in Indiana. I've been riding most of my life, and I grew up around all sorts of racing. I like to think that there's gasoline in my veins. I wanted to race my whole life, but I never really had the support that I needed until I got old enough to support hobby myself. Now, I've gotten older, and I've been through bikes of all sorts, from vintage cafes to modern sportbikes. The one thing that has stayed the same through the years is my desire to be on two wheels.

More recently, I decided to take my love for motorcycles beyond just riding. I began attending WyoTech Daytona in January to become a motorcycle mechanic, with the intention of working for a performance company after completing the program. While it has taken a front seat to everything else, it has helped keep my spark for motorcycles alive. I recently bought a 1999 Honda CR125 with the intention of bringing it back to a better-than-new condition. I will try to post regular progress reports for this fun little project.

Riding Goals

It's time for me to get back into racing shape, and that's the number one priority. I'm also just trying to get my bearings back in the dirt, and work on proper form and techniques. Beyond that, I'm working mostly on combining my mechanical knowledge with riding experience to become a race mechanic with the ability to really understand the needs of riders.
