Personal History
My name is Eric Caldwell. I began riding MotoX about a year ago - suffered a broken ankle at the beginning of the season in 2008, recovered, and am back stronger than ever in 2009. I primarily ride my 2008 KTM 450 SX, and am becoming more comfortable with my bike every race.
I strive for 1st place, EVERY race. I know I have it in me to accomplish first, and haven't allowed anyone to defeat my goal to date.
Outside of racing, I am an Iron Worker, I hang from multiple levels of steel and assemble everything from bridges to buildings to structures that have to support unthought of weights.
I enjoy fishing, boating, hanging with my family. I am the proud father of 3 great kids and have a wonderful girl that supports me in my racing.
Riding Goals
My first goal with the upcoming year is to finish first in this season overall, and move up to the next level of competition next season. Secondly, I continue to practice on my off race time, with my skills and comforts accomplishing doubles, burms, hole shots and distance in the air.
Competitive Highlights
I adjust my speed and burms out of the hole, dependent upon the riders around me, and do my best to continue my advantage without causing harm or serious collision to other riders. While I believe that it is important to stay on top, and in the lead, I do not believe that it is good to do so by putting others in harms way.
