Personal History
Started riding at 12, started racing at 18, paying my way. Raced till 30 then stopped. Started back racing 2022. I also fish a lot, winning a Pro/Am tournament in 2021. I work out, play softball on 2 teams, work and church teams. Own 2 boats and my house so very busy. My kids both ride, son races and daughter just bought hre bike. If we aren't at the track, fishing, we are at church on Sundays.
Riding Goals
I have been on a motorcycle since 11 years old. bought my 1st bike, XR100 at 12 and rebuilt it. Since then I've owened 20 dirt bikes and started racing at 18. I stopped racing at 30, too much with kids and their sports. Started racing 2022 and riding with my son. Soon to have our daughter on her bike. It's about riding and family time at the track.
Competitive Highlights
I won 1998 25+B champion VA winter series and 2nd in 250B. I slowed down to just riding when my son got a bike, expenses vs food on the table. I started back racing 2022 in 35+B (didn't race enough events to place) and in 45+B which I got 6th, which sucked. Last race of the season I broke my ankle, still got 4th in the race. I trained over the winter and started racing 45+B and 50+B. My 1st race in 50+B, pulled the hole shot and won by 1/4 lap (BuddsCreek). 2nd moto, stalled in the start and down by 1/2 lap. Ended in 2nd. I won 5 races and ended 2nd in 45+B and 1st in 50+B for 2023.
