Personal History
I'm 15 years old right now. Just stepped up to big bikes (yz 125 2015) after riding a KTM 85 2013 for almost two years. I started racing local races in 2012, on a kx 85 2005. I started to get better so my father bought me the KTM. Since that, everything started to get a little bit more serious, and I started winning races. After 3 years of racing I feel like I've learned a lot. The change of my riding skills has been huge. From being a "gooner", to a rider that can ride a bike safely and fast. Now I'm just trying to carry all of this momentum into the big bike. From what I've done until now, the big bike feels way better than the 85. My laptimes are 5 to 7 seconds lower.
I also race endurance races on 50cc. It may sound weird, but here in Catalonia, we have an endurance championship on 50cc's. It'a basically a 125 frame, with a 50cc engine on it. Those things are so fun. I've raced the 24 hours of endurance on 50's twice.
I consider myself a smooth rider. I'm not one of those kids that revs the bike so high and burn the clutch on each and every corner of the track. I always try to look for eficiency and speed, carrying as much speed through the corners as I can. That's what I learn by watching the pros on videos.
Riding Goals
My goals in motocross are to be an AMA champion in the USA. But for now, I want to be upfront in the "Campionat de Catalunya"on the 125. If I do good, I will maybe race the Spanish Campionship on the 125 class. That would be awesome. I'm going to work as hard as I can to race it.
Competitive Highlights
Getting my first championship last year was very good for me. But for me the best highlight was to get two holeshots in a row. It was my first time ever to pull a holeshot. It was on a 40 rider gate. I got two perfect starts in both motos.
