Personal History

Hello, My name is Emma Dopke. I am 10 years old and live Lowell, Wisconsin. I am a student at Dodgeland School with a 3.8 gpa and I play the flute.

My hobbies are dirtbike and mountain bike riding, fishing, playing music, and playing with my friend's.

I started riding when I was 8. After my dad took me to a motocross race, I knew I had to do it. I was told I was too little yet to try it. But my dad traded his prize target bow for a Yamaha TT-R 90. I was scared at first, but dad held the handle bar and jogged next to me. After about 10 minute's, I had it and he jogged behind me. I rode with him the whole summer while he taught me thing's like downshifting and braking for coners. In 2013 Dad started racing at 42 year's old to show me there isn't anything to be afraid of on the track. He saw I was outgrowing the Yamaha and started looking for something bigger for me. He couldn't find a good bike in his budget, so he found a blown engine and a frame for a Kawasaki KX80. He put aside his other race bike, and by Father's Day the KX was up and running. I've learned to use the clutch properly, how to brake for corner's, and proper seating possiton for cornering and jump's. I live with my mom, so I ride with my dad everyother weekend as often as we can. So far I've only ridden on farm trail and a friend's practice track, but I feel I'm ready to try racing!

Riding Goals

For 2014 we plan to race as many AMA District 16 Motocross race's as time and money allow's. I will be entering the jr. 85 9-11 and women's classes. My goal is to finish on the lead lap every moto and score point's in the top 20 by season's end. I aim to make my familly and any sponsor's proud to have backed me during the season.

Thank you for time and concideration.
