Personal History
I am a hard-working, motivated, caring individual who really enjoys life, and loves riding her motorcycle. I just turned 21, and while to many young adults, that means being able to party legally and get wild, I believe it gives me the opportunity to lead a positive life for the kids that I know, and to continue to uphold the hope and belief that there are responsible young people still around! I currently work full-time in an office, and train everyday(both in the gym, and/or on the bike) and every weekend that I am not competing. I moved to Portland, Oregon after being born and raised in Bend to further my riding and racing opportunities. I worked at a bike shop in retail as long as I could and when I was presented with this opportunity to work for one of the best riders I've ever heard of, I took the opportunity. I train with him as much as I can, and he is one of top motivators for my success. I was raised in a very large family, and while I've had the amazing opportunity to be able to ride, it wasn't until I moved out on my own that I discovered that I love racing and riding so much more than I ever thought. I am so blessed and fortunate to have had and continue to have the opportunities I've been granted.
Riding Goals
For the year 2013. I am competing in the Northwest Motorcycle Association(NMA) Off-Road series. I will be racing on the long course in the 200 Amateur/Intermediate class with the hope of finish well in the year end title chase and moving up to 200 Expert for the year 2014.
I have also decided to race the thursday night summer series at Portland International Raceway(PIR). I am hoping to race strong and place in the top 3 for this year.
I am also riding a variety of selected events including Geico EnduroCross(West Coast), Virginia City Grand Prix(Virginia City, NV) and some other local Oregon/Washington/Idaho events.
For the 2013 race year, I have decided to push myself to the limits and make myself a very well rounded and successful rider.
In 2014, I plan on qualifying for the women's class to represent the United States in Argentina at the International Six Day Enduro(ISDE).
As much as I love racing, riding and competition, my main goal for 2013 is to have fun, be safe and expand my knowledge of this sport!
