Personal History
Growing up in Colorado has been the best experience possible for an aspiring dirtbiker. At the ripe age of 11 I was introduced into dirtbike by a neighbor kid. After saving for what felt like forever (2 years) I bought my first dirtbike. A little $1500 TTR-125. All my dreams came true, and I only fell in love with riding more and more. I grew up in a tiny town called Pitkin, Colorado, and my parents owned and operated a little general store with the only gas pump for 30 miles. We truly lived in a Dirtbikers paradise, we were right over the hill from Taylor Park, and Seargants CO, which is some of the best riding in the country. My eyes glisitened when I saw Malcom Smith from On any Sunday walk thru the doors of the general store. My heart sank when I noticed Megs Brrap filling up gas at our gas pump. Im sure so many amazing riders have walked thru the doors of the store and I didnt even notice them.
Fast forward into my 20's and at this point I have been riding dirt bikes recreationally for 15 is years. A friend approached me and asked if I have every raced in hare scrambles, or enduro races. I looked at him puzzled and said no. He said I should try it and there is one coming up that is close. He even paid my entry fee. At that point I was riding a brand spanking new 2015 KX450, and loved the beast. I had been on 450's for years at this point. So we gear up and go to the race (which was a complete mud fest) and I placed 4th place. It was so hard and rewarding at the same time. That was pretty much the beginning of my race career, I was going to every race I could afford at that point. Some life evebts happened and I steped back from racing for a few years, but now that things have settled down, I ready to RACE!!!
