Personal History

My name is Emily Eubanks, and I am 15 years old.  I started riding dirtbikes about three years ago, and I have been racing for two years.  I became interested in motocross after going to a race at a local track.  After the first race, I was hooked.  From that point on, all I wanted to do was get a bike and race.  My parents realized my passion and bought me my first dirtbike.  It was a CRF100, and I learned the basics of riding on that bike.  I quickly outgrew the bike and soon moved up to a YZ85.  My dad, who also rides dirtbikes,  bougt a YZ250F so he could ride with me.  He also built a practice track at our house, so we would have a place to ride during the week.  My dad and I practiced all the time, and I quickly improved. One day,  I decided that I wanted try out his 250.  I loved the power and the feel of the four stroke.  Because I liked his bike so much, I took the 250, and he bought a 450.  I raced several races on the 250 and did a really good job.  I won several races. But, because I am only 5'2" and weigh 110 lbs., I would sometimes struggle with the size of the 250, and have to use startinging blocks at the gate because I couldn't touch. My dad and I  decided that I should get a CRF150RB, which is what I am going to race this year.  I have been practicing on the 150, and feel very comfortable on it, like I am one with the bike.  Racing is now my life.  I gave up cheerleading for motocross.  I am homeschooled so I can have more time to practice and travel to races.  I am going to become pro one day.  I am willing to work hard and make sacrifices to make my dream come true.

Riding Goals

I am going to improve this year.  I am going to race every weekend, practice each day during the week, and win lots of races.  I am going to make it to Lorettas and win a championship.  I am willing to work hard to make my goals a reality.

Competitive Highlights

I raced several races last year, and placed first or second at all of them.  Although the races were at the local district 15 tracks, I am very proud of my accomplishments.  I plan on racing at a regional and national level this year.
