This weekend on August 25th marks the first race of the 2012 CMC Trans-Cal Nationals. The race will be held at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino. I am looking forward to racing the big Glen Helen track, this will be my first time racing it. Keep an eye out for the #92 on the YZ 85 in the 7-11 age group.

On June 3rd at Glen Helen the final race of the CMC Spring Classic MX Series was held. I raced both the 85cc begineer class and the 85cc open class. I ended up going 1-1 in the beginner class and also won the overall in both the 85cc beginner class and 85cc open. This was my first full series running with the CMC. It was a great experience. I look forward to running the Trans Cal Nationals coming in August. In the meantime I will be racing at other tracks in the Southern California area. Keep an eye out for #92 on the Yamaha.

Today the CMC Spring Classic MX Series returned to Lake Elsinore MX Park for the the 3rd leg of the series. Morning was great and the track turned out to be better than I expected. You can tell the management at the track is really trying to get the dirt to work there. Anyway moto 1 I was able to get off to a great start and run up just behind the next class up. I ended up getting the top spot. In moto2 I did not get off to a good start but made my way threw the pack to get the top spot again. The next race will be June 3rd at Glen Helen which will be the final race of the series.
May 13 2012
I raced on May 13th at the Lucas Oil MX Park. This was the second race of the CMC Spring Classic MX Series. The day went well. In both motos I was able to get great starts and get some time in between me and second place. The track was prepped awesome so I really enjoyed the racing there. Next race will be at Lake Elsinore Motorsports park on May 27.

The CMC Spring Series started this weeked on April 29th at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park. I was able race and I did real good even though I have not raced since January. The races were two moto format. First moto I had an ok start, I was probably 3rd or 4th after the first turn. Once I got my lines figured out and got my speed I managed to get a first place finish. Moto 2 was a little different, I holeshotted and never gave up my position to finish first in moto 2 as well. Although the track conditions were not the best all in all I had a good day of racing. Next stop will me at the Lucas Oil MX Park on May 13th..

My yz is now back in action. My dad went and took my yz 85 completely apart and had the frame powdercoated, had the motor gone thru by Don over at PAX Racing and had the suspension redone by Odie over at Feal Suspension. I have been practicing at least twice a week at the local tracks here in Socal which include Perris MX, Milestone, Lucas Oil, Pala and Lake Elsinore. Boy my YZ really rips now. I will be running some local events in the near future once they get scheduled up. News to come soon.

This was my first race with this many entrants. I've never seen so many riders at one place all getting ready to race. It was a great experience.
I raced in the 85cc beginner class which had 16 racers that showed up. First moto I had a descent start with 5th place out of the gate. I was able to hold on for a 6th place finish in moto 1. Second moto I had a better start with a 3rd right out of the gate but got passed by two riders and fell back to 5th. I was running strong but had a spill in one of the corners. I got passed by a few guys while on the ground. I managed to get back up and get 7th for moto 2. Overall I got 7th place out of 16 riders, not bad for it only being my second race on the 85. Next race will be at Milestone I can't wait.

My parents have given me the go ahead to race again. I have worked hard on getting my grades back up where they need to be. My dad said I will be racing the California Gold Cup to start my year off. First race is January 15th at Perris Raceway.

I am not going to be able to race the rest of the Triple Crown and will probably not be racing the rest of 2011. My grades were not as good as they need to be so my parents are having me take a break from racing to get them back up to where they need to be.

The first round of the 2011Triple Crown MX Series was held on October 30th at Milestone Race Track. I raced my YZ 85 for the first time in the 7-11 85cc beginner class. Overall I did pretty good but I was a little nervous because of all the riders. What an experience. I will miss the 2nd race but will be doing the rest of the Triple Crown Races. I can't wait to dial in my 85.

Well I have out grown the KX 65 that I won the 2011 MX Racer Series on. My dad said its too small for me now and it can't handle the abuse I am putting it through. I am moving up to the 85cc beginner class now. I will be riding my 2005 yz 85 now. I love the 85 because it has way better suspension and it fits me better even though I can't really touch the ground. I will be racing the first race of the Triple Crown on the 85, I am looking forward to that.
Oct 20 2011
All the practice and hard work paid off. I have won the 2011 MX Racer Summer Series championship. I worked on being consistent and getting good starts which allowed me to run up front with the faster kids for 8 of the 10 races. I can't wait to get my first championship trophy to put in my bedroom, its going to be huge!
Oct 10 2011
Saturday October 8th was race 9 of 10 of the 2011 MX Racer Summer Series. The new motor in my kx was running great and felt strong. I had a good start on moto 1 but fell over in a corner. I was able to get back up and still get second place. Moto 2 started off good, kept it on two wheels and finished in 1st place. One more race to go to finish the series. After this series I will be getting on the 85.

We got the motor back from Don over at PAX Racing. He got it done for us in 3 days, thanks Don for your quick turnaround. My dad got the motor back in my bike and started. We will break it in and hit the track this week to get ready for race 9 of 10 of the MX Racer series. I can't wait to ride my new bike!
Sep 27 2011
My dad pulled the motor out of my KX 65 and took the cylinder head off, didn't look to good in the bottom end. You can hear stuff bouncing around in there, something metal. We are giving the motor to Don over at PAX Racing for the rebuild we know he will do a good job at rebuilding. Stay tuned for a better running bike.
Sep 25 2011
About mid 4th lap my bike just shut off...my dad ran over and tried starting it but he couldn't. After a few trys he said the motor was toast! We got it started a little later in the pits and there was a weird rattle sound coming out of the motor so we shut it off.

September 24th is my sister Samantha's birthday but it is also race 8 of the MX Racer Summer Night Series. For my sister's birthday I am going to race hard and smart and hopefully be able to dedicate the nights win to my sister. We plan on having a little celebration for her there with cup cakes and some presents.

Last night Septemeber 17th was the 7th race of the 2011 MX Racer Summer Night Series. First moto I had a good start but ran into a little trouble at the first turn. I also had a little crash that caused me to loose some ground, nothing serious. I got back up and was able to regroup and get the moto win. 2nd moto was a little better start. I was able to run with the competitors in the class above me for the entire race! All the training and practice is paying off. I was able to get the moto win in my class for an overall 1-1 for the night. Seven races in the books with three more races to go. Next race is September 24th, looking forward to pushing harder.

I have been training 3 days a week and riding 2 days a week. It has really made a difference in my speed. Now that my dad has made a few changes with my bike set up I should be looking good to finish the series strong.
