Personal History

My name is Elijah Saenz and I am 9 years old. I go to William Collier Elementary School here in Lake Elsinore, CA where I am in the 4th grade. My favorite subjects in school are math and science. When I grow up I would liket to be a professional motocross rider and an Engineer. I love to be outside riding my bike or playing basketball with my dad. I also like to drive rc cars, play with my friends and I really love to go camping out in the desert where I get to ride my dirt bike as much as I want. My most favorite thing to do is ride my dirt bikes. I started riding when I was 3 years old,  I wish I could ride my dirtbikes everyday but right now I ride twice a week and sometimes three times a week. I have also started training to help me get stronger and faster when I have to race. I can not wait to ride again.

Riding Goals

Right now I am focusing on making Honor Roll at school, my parents won't let me race unless my grades are where they need to be. For 2012 I am looking to get more experience and exposure at other series around Southern California. I am now on the YZ 85 since I have outgrown the KX65. I will be racing in the 2012 California Gold Cup to get experiance in the bigger races. I will keep training and practicing so that I could improve on my speed and endurance. The 85 class  has a lot more competitive riders in it so I am really looking forward to testing myself and racing against the best in the area and pushing myself to get better and better.

Competitive Highlights

In my short career as a racer I don't have many highlights but in my first full series in the 2011 MX Racer Summer Series I placed 1st place overall in the 65cc starter class. This series consisted of 10 races and each had 2 motos.

In 2012 I raced the CMC Springs Classic MX Series which was sponsored by Honda Oils and MTA Distributing. I ran both the 85cc beginner class and the 85cc open class. My Yamaha YZ 85 ran great. I was able to win both the overall in the 85cc beginner class and the 85cc open class. I look forward to running the 2012 CMC Trans-Cal Nationals coming up in August.

I will be adding more in this department as 2012 continues. Keep an eye out at the track for #92 on the YZ 85.
