Personal History

I am 17 years old and live in a small town called Kitimat B.C. I’ve been on a DirtBike since I was pretty young but didn’t get my own till I was 16 years old. When I first got on a bike it was probably the best thing that I could ever do, I immedialty loved the sport and wanted to get my own bike right there and then. So every year on Christmas I would ask my mom to get me a new bike, but the answer was always no we can’t afford that or you have to wait till you’re older to get your own bike. Years went by and I only got to ride about 5 times a year when I went out with friends and got to try their bikes, that was until when I was 16 I saved up enough money to buy myself a 1999 kx250 (2 stroker). I rode that for awhile and had some fun on it but not being able to afford the maintenance on it I traded it in for a newer 2006 Crf250x with less hours on it. After I got my crf250 I went and watched my friend race motocross and that’s when I knew I wanted to race and be a professional.

Riding Goals

Why I want to ride motocross this year.. Dirtbiking has been my passion since day one of getting on a DirtBike and watching my first motocross race with my friends. I want to ride motocross because of the hard work you have to put into it, the commitment, the blood, sweat and tears and especially for the smiles when I’m around good people. Motocross is a hard sport and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to become professional even if it means I get a few broken bones while doing it. I want to be able to get sponsors for my upcoming races as I’m only 17 don’t really have income and a family to support me as my mother isn’t really in my life and my dad passed away. I want to be able to put some upgrades on my bike so I can have it ready to race and be able to have some fun while I do what I love.

Competitive Highlights

I want to be able to reach the pro nationals and race against all the pros when I’m older. It may take me a few years of racing but I know for sure that I would be able to make it there. I want to be able to get my bike ready to race with all new graphics, new riding gear as I’m borrowing other peoples at the moment, after a few races I want to be able to get a new bike like a 2018 yz250 or a yz250f. I haven’t raced yet but I have my first race in Prince George on June 10th racing in the beginner class. I’m hoping that I can get first but will be pushing for third the whole time, and once I’m down this raw I hope there will be more to come.
