Rider Updates

Dec 6 2014

I know this is a far overdue update, however, this season racing the Tri State Dirt Rider series I placed 3rd over all. Being my first full season racing I am very happy with this place and look forward to racing next year. Although I will be deployed for most of next season I hope to get as much riding done in the off season so I can still make progress when I return to racing (should be early July). I couldn't have done it without the great sponsors I've had threw this website, its been a real blessing. So Thank y'all for your support and I will keep you updated when I come back to racing after my deployment.

RD 7 of the TSDR series was amazing. We raced in berthoud colorado and the track was very well prepped for the races. I finished 9th moto 1 and 7th moto 2 in the 250 C class. Not exactly what i wanted but I felt like I was racing well. Also, I experienced the biggest gate to date, with 38 people. It was a thrill to say the least. In my 450 C class I took 9th overall finishing 9th the first moto and 12th the second moto. I went down and dropped to 27th (last place) and worked my way back up to 12th. So although the placings aren't great I still feel like I rode well.

RD 6 of the tri state series was bitter sweet. I raced the 250C and 450 C classes. In the 450 C class i did pretty good with a 3-3 finish for 3rd overall. In the 250C class i finished 6-6 for 6th over all. Although I am not happy with the 6th place finish the 3rd place still gives me confidence. I am looking forward to next weekend when we race in Berthoud Colorado.

TSDR RD 5 was amazing. The track there in Douglas Wyoming was amazing. The competition there was challenging. They really made me work for it. I finished 2nd in the first moto and 3rd in the second for a 2nd overall. That is my best finish I have had yet. Progress is what aiming for and I hope I can get a first before the season ends! Great day of racing.

I went to the nationals race at Thunder Valley. Its amazing seeing the full potential of the same bike i ride. Mathews was tearing it up till he crashed second moto. Also got to meet some cool people like Trey Canard and Eli Tomac. Amazing Day.

On June first I had a race in Cheyenne Wyoming. I raced two classes, the 250 C, and the 450 C. In the 250 class i placed 11th over all and had a pretty bad crash that I'm starting recovery from. After the crash I still had a moto left in the 450 C class so I got back on the bike and took 4th over all. It wasn't a bad day of racing but it had the potential to be a lot better. I also got my first hole shot in the first moto of 250 C. I'm pumped for June 15th which is RD 5 and located in Douglas WY.

Had a two day race at Wheatland MX track in Wyoming. It was a blast. The track was really rough so it separated the riders pretty well. I took 3rd the first day, and 4th the second day. I had a lot of fun which is what matters, but I also saw some things I need to work on. Looking forward to RD 3 this weekend!

May 20 2014

Last weekend, the 18th of may, we had an off week from racing so me and a few buddies i race with went out to ride at the Wheatland MX track here in Wyoming. The track was freshly groomed to perfection and developed nicely throughout the day. It's an amazing track and if y'all ever get the chance you gotta tear it up!

TSDR, Round 2 at Mitchel NE, was amazing. The track was prepped to perfection and offered various difficulty of obstacles. Also, I had my best finish, placing third overall. There is still room for improvement, but I am excited to see what the next race brings.

Placed 8th over all in the Tri state series round 1 last weekend. not what i hoped for but considering some mistakes i made i am happy with the outcome. Next weekend i aim to fix some technique issues and hopefully get my first moto win of the season!
