Personal History
My name is Elicia Gettings and I am twenty-nine years old. I started racing dirt bikes at 4 and a half years old. Since I started, my love for racing has grown immensely. Each year, my training as well as my skills have increased. In 2010, I raced Loretta Lynn's Amateur National. In 2013, I was able to surpass my skills of the previous year and won the championship in NESC's women’s class in the spring and fall. In 2014, I raced Southwick National and placed 19th. I stopped racing when I went to college, to focus on my career. I bought a house and had a baby. In 2022, I began racing side-by-sides and have worked on my driving skills on the motocross track, but in another way. Last year, my daughter who was 4 at the time started to fall in love with dirtbikes, bringing me back to two wheels. My first race back after 10 years not racing, I placed 2nd out of 19 women. 2024 was my first year back to racing mx, while also racing SXS, I placed 4th in the WSP spring series, won the championship in the NEMX women's class for the fall series, placed 3rd in the QXNE (SXS) main series and 2nd in the QXNE (SXS) gauntlet series.
Riding Goals
In 2024, I raced both motocross and SXS. I won the women’s MX fall Championship my first year back to racing after a 10 year break. I also placed 2nd in the SXS Gauntlet series and 3rd in the SXS main series. Having a child that can share the love of racing motocross is so awesome! Any support I can get is much appreciated. Thank you.
