Personal History
I grew up racing in Oklahoma in the early to mid 1980s and competed nationally on 50s, 60s, and 80s. I scored two fifth place finishes at the Ponca City NMA National in 1982, and won a national title at the Lake Whitney NMA Fall National in 1983. I raced occasionally through my teens prior to joining the U.S. Air Force in 1991. While stationed in Fairbanks Alaska, I won a local championship in the 250 Intermediate Class (1998) and finished second in the 250 Expert Class during the 1999 season. Due to military commitments, I stopped racing until retirement in January 2012.
During the 2012 season, I won the Over 30B Championship at Rocky Mountain Raceway as well as the Over 30B Utah State Championship at Hot Springs Raceway in Ogden, Utah.
For 2013, I moved up to the pro class and competed in the Over 30A and Over 40A classes. As indicated by by my 2013 results, I consistently finish in the top 3 in Over 30A and have won the vast majority of races in the Over 40A class since turning 40 in May 2013.
