Personal History
My name is Dylan Tomsik, I am 15, My birthday is 1/12/2008. I have been riding since I was 4 and racing since I was 8. I have never been “the fast kid” but I am getting there now. Every race or practice day I am getting faster and better. I started the season of Oma Night series getting last place every moto. Then I started getting top 5 and starting to hang with the “fast kids”. I have put a lot of practice in and it is now starting to pay off. Back in July of 2020 I had a bad crash and broke both of my wrists. Then I recovered by October of 2020, I started to ride again then it was winter. In January of 2021 I was riding at an indoor track for the first time, when I came up way short on a big double and frame cased the up side of the landing. Leading me to break both of my legs. It sucked, but when I healed at the beginning of summer I got right into practicing again. From then I have been riding a lot better and faster.If we fast forward to 2022 then that leads to when I got 1st overall for the Oma Faircross season. I will continue practicing and training. Thank you for considering me for a sponsorship. Now in 2023 I got a 2023 yz 250f and am going to train and practice to reach for the results I want. I just got my first hole shot and podium on the 250 and I am already getting overall results better than I was on the 85. Jump to current time I just finished my season of racing. In the Viva Ohio Mx Night series i finished 1st overall in schoolboy2 for the hole season in points. Also I finished 2nd in 250c for the season. I have been getting much faster and the results can back it up. I am going to start off season training and push to be better next year.
Riding Goals
Some goals will be to win again next year in both of my classes, possibly to do another class and so I have 3 classes to race in. I also would like to get faster and a better rider overall.
Competitive Highlights
I got 1st overall for the Oma Faircross series in the 85sr class. Also I got 1st overall for the Oma Faircross series in the sr trail bike class. I am finishing top 5 now at night series motocross races in supermini and 85 sr. I got the hole shot on my 250 for the first time and a podium 2nd. I finished 1st overall in points in schoolboy 2, and 2nd in points in 250c, I also have won some motos and have been in the battles all season.
