Personal History

My name is Dylan Lawson, I've been riding since I was 5 years old. I started out on a Yamaha PW 50 and then moved to a Honda XR 80 when I was 7. Around 13 I started riding a Honda CRF230 and at 15 switched to the 2009 CRF250R. Most of my riding wasn't competitive until I turned 15. I then raced several races on my 250 at Ascot Park MX in Dora, OK. I raced in the 250/450 Begginer class and placed 1st in every moto I ran. About 2 years after I began racing my bike was stolen. I now have a 2010 Honda crf250r, and two 2016 Yamaha yz250f 60th Anniversary bikes.

Riding Goals

My goals for myself are very high, but I have no doubt I can fulfill them. I would like to start by competing in the 2016 Oklahoma State Championship series. After that I would like to compete in the Loretta Lynn qualifying series, and hope to make it to nationals at the Loretta Lynn Ranch. I would love to make a professional career out of this. I am very passionate about the sport.

Competitive Highlights

5th place overall in the 2016 Oklahoma State Championship Series, 1st place in the Ascot Park Gold Cup Motocross Series, and several first place and top 5 finishes in exhibition races and other random series races.
