Personal History

Dylan Hunter Penchansky

Resides in Port Jefferson Station, New York, a small town on the Eastern North Shore of Long Island

  • I am now 13 years old, and in 8th grade.
  • I like school and work hard so that I have more time to ride.
  • I have three  younger siblings who I love to teach how to ride and get to spend time with while at the track.
  • I am so incredibly grateful for the support system at my house that includes my Mom, Stepfather and Siblings.

My stepfather  Doug is who I have to thank for all I have achieved to date.  His support and time on the track with me has always driven me to have such huge respect for this sport in its whole. .  Coming into this new riding season, and having also trained over the winter, I feel very excited for this new season and ready to demonstrate more than just a sport but a passion and love that is only fulfilled and demonstrated when I am on my bike.  I am the average good kid in school, I do all my work and respect the people that are always there for me no matter what.   I love riding, watching Motocross and Supercross gives me such motivation and I have really enjoyed the pro-tips offered during this seasons Broadcasts.

They say we should include something more personal as it allows you to get to know a little about me, so for that I am going to say I have a best friend, his name Butch, a Redbone (a dog breed, so yes my  best bud has four legs!)   This pup has shown me what life is always about, caring for him and loving him gives me the insight of what my Mom and step dad put into raising us four kids.   I love going out on adventures with him, he climbs, and truly is one those adventurous dogs.  I love to riding  my bicycle.  They have recently put a 6 1/2 mile trail ride in my neighborhood that offers some amazing hill climbs, and forces me to push myself  and am seeing that transformation being applied daily when I am on my dirtbike as well.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Sports in general keep me active.  During the winter season I played with a few Basketball teams and leagues and this sport has given me the reminder of what  a "play maker" is.  I see myself as a leader and I am self driven when there is passion and excitement.  (ask me to clean my room maybe not so much)  I am a hardworking person with a drive to excel at my love.  I will always play sports as I grow up they are fun, interactive and yet I get to be competitive which is what I really like the most.                                                                                                                                                              Doug always tells me that training is more than just riding your dirtbike it's a lifestyle, and I have become a better person by accepting this challenge to achieve my riding goals.    I am fortunate to have the support I do within my family, because I realize that now my time and what I can do is being offered, and this won't be time I chose to waste.  I want to ride hard, and never look back, because each day I am alive I plan to spend it close to the dirt, and the wind on my side.  Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I know that if you are, it's more than just a name and what I can be, but that you see in me integrity, desire and a burn to reach my goals, as more than enough to represent you with pride and honor.

Riding Goals

  • My riding goal is to make it to Loretta Lynn's.
  • I want to train and race as much as possible.
  • I love riding and can't imagine a day without my dirtbike.
  • Going Pro, would be a dream truly come true!
  • I just began riding a Yamaha Yz 125
  • Working hard for my trainers; knowing clearly what the expectations are and learning as much as I can
  • Establishing a routine and structure to be a stronger yet consistent rider.
  • I want to have even more success this year and demonstrating more and more my ability to focus will hopefully bring me an awesome competitive season.
  • Achieving my first hole shot last season is one of my most exciting moments, and  would remain my immediate goal this season as well, I need to lead the pack, and ride hard.
  • My mom is so extremely supportive, and my siblings are always there, I couldn't ask nor request a better set up that is undeniably going to afford me this chance to reach my goals.
