Personal History

I started to ride in 2011 on a Kawasaki KDX 50. I was 5 years old. After beating the bike up the first year my Dad realized that it was time to move on. My parents saved up and purchased a used 2011 Cobra jr. 50. It was much faster and had way better suspension. Early in 2012 I really wanted to race my bike against other kids. I started to practice everyday. Everything was going according to plan when it all ended in late may of 2012 before my first race.

I was practicing with my Dad when I started to feel sick. We took a short break when we realzied something was wrong. Soon later I was rushed to the hospital. After being diagnosed with a bowel obstruction I was rushed into emergency surgery. Once things started to settle down the doctors told me I could not ride for 10 weeks. It was the longest 10 weeks of my life.

Finally we started to ride again in August. I lost a lot of strength but was determined to race as soon as I could. Finally we would go to our local track. I raced a got second place. I raced 4 more times that year and got 2 first place finishes and another 2nd place finish. It was my last year to ride 6-7 year old class.

My parents saved up and bought me two bikes. A 2012 Cobra sr. 50 and 2013 Cobra sr.50. Both bike was setup the same and one was my practice bike and one was my race bike. We strated to practice in January 2013 at an indoor track near Butler called Switchback. We were getting ready for the 7-8 year old race season.

Riding Goals

We plan to attend a riding school that Trevor Vines is putting on at his ranch this may 2013.

Races: We wil be attending a local Series at Pyramid Valley MX ( For Points ). Other racing will include select dates in the PAMX spring series. These races include High Point Raceway in Mount Morris Pa. and Steel City in Delmont Pa. We also plan to race the Just Give Me 50's Races. This is a 3 race series at Latrobe Motor Speedway.  We will race The Allegheny Cup / A growing race in Pennsylvania with many riders. We plan to race the PAMX fall series for points. We will also be expanding our practice track through out the year and riding at Creekside's practice track. Our goal is to make Loretta's next year in 2014.

Competitive Highlights

We started to ride on the weekend at Switchback Indoor track. It was a good experience to figure out how the new bikes were. After a few practice session we dove right in and geared up of our first big race at Wilkes Barre Pa for the Ricky Charmichael Arena Cross. I got 9th place overall in the 50 7-8-class. We were happy for the first real race of the year. The race was in February 2013.

The next race was at Motorama 2013 in Harrisburg PA. It is the biggest indoor motor sports weekend on the East Coast. I rode well. Saturday I received 7th place over all out of 22 kids. Sunday I received 7th place out of 20. We felt good about the weekend. It was a blast and look forward to next year. The race was held in February 2013.

We started to practice outside as the weather would permit. We were gearing up for the Loretta Lynn's qualifier that was being held at Tomahwk MX in West Virginia. We had a decent practice but the track was extremely rutted and I struggled in the first moto saturday. I DNF'ed the first moto. The second moto was not much better. I crashed a couple of time and finished near the back. I need to regroup and get ready for the next one.

Sense then we raced 4 local races. I have received 3 wins and a second place. Our next bigger race is at High point for the Loretta Lynn qualifier in May 2013. We also plan to race at least once a weekend. I will update this page regularly.
