Personal History
Hey! I'm Dylan Hammond and I'm 8 years old. I have been riding for 2 years. I started on a Cobra 50 but moved to a KX65 last spring. I like baseball but dirtbikes are what I really love. I practice almost every day of the week either in my backyard on my starts or at some locally built tracks out in the desert.
Riding Goals
My main goal this year is just to get faster. Working on my burms and double jumps is one my highest priorities. Hopefully to hit a bunch of races and hopefully move up to a novice class later this year.
Competitive Highlights
I broke my knee on my kx65 just two weeks after getting it. That took me out of racing for 4 months but I got my cast off a week before the 5 race afterhours mx series in boulder city, NV where I finished 8th overall, even after missing one of the races. I also finished 2nd overall at a small local race in Kingman in September of last year. Most recently I raced in the first of a 3 races series in Lake Havasu City, AZ, where I placed 3rd in my first moto and took home the holeshot award. Before moving to the 65 I won several small local races on my Cobra 50.
